Painful Death of a Chitrali Police Officer

2010, I observed bad news on

about a Chitrali police officer killed by an un- know person at the
Shahmozai Police Station in Sawat. That police officer was Noor
Wazir Khan, a good friend of mine, who was famous for his honesty,
integrity and commitment with his profession. He served in Chitral
Police Department for more than two decades. Recently, Noor Wazir
got a promotion and transferred to the Shahmozai Police Station in
Sawat. During his last days of his life, he was worried about his
co-workers not liking him as a Chitrali officer among them.
Finally, he was killed by another police officer within the police
station. It was not an accident; he was targeted because the
Pakhtun country men are aggressive in nature and have no control
over their emotions. The dead body of Noor Wazir Khan was another
painful “gift” for peaceful Chitralies. As a Chitrali, I am worried
about all the Chitrali officers, some of which are my friends, who
are serving in Pakhtun areas because Pakhtun has no love for human
kind.
