Chitral should be merged into Northern Areas and Gilgit
Keeping in view the unique and isolate culture, language and
geography of Chitral, It looks strange if we see the word
pukhtoonkhwa beside Chital. There should be a name representing the
Khoove people and indicate that there is no pukhtoon culture in
Chitral, and we are entirely different community living in the
Hindu Kush mountain range. We must try our best to raise our voice
with starting moment at district level, to change or to add a
Chitrali word with existing Chitral.
In the critical time, when the country is in war like situation and
tribal areas are being attacked, ANP left everything behind and
kept fighting for word pukhtoonkhwah. If we Chitralies are of
opinion that, the change of name makes no difference, why the
slogan of pukhtoonkhwa was raised so loud and pushed so seriously
in national assembly. On the other hand if name is important,
Chitralies also have the right to change the name of their district
as (Khoovan Chitrar) or something else related to Chitral and
Chitralies. We must initiate the struggle right from today with the
hope that ANP dominating assembly will come to its end soon, and
the name issue will be raised again by others and any suitable un
provocative name will be chosen for the province, otherwise Chitral
should be merged into Northern Areas and Gilgit.

Chitral deserve to be under the Center
Dear Sir,
It is with reference to the subject letter by Syed Sardar Hussain,
we the people of Chitral deserve to be under the Center. Because we
have to save our prestigious identity. if, as mentioned by Sardar
Hussain sahib, the agreement between Mehtar-e-Chitral and
Quaid-e-Azam includes the term (Chitral to be controled by center),
than our intellectual class should take this seriously and struggle
for it.
