Telephone tower for Koh area
Dear Editor,
It was of great pleasure to see the earth breaking ceremony of the
telephone tower for Koh area in your news paper. We are grateful to
Chitral times for timely updating us about this good news. Although
it was quite late but a step deserves appreciation. We the Kofekos
have long been suffering from communication problems. And people
living outside Pakistan can understand how difficult it is to
remain disconnected from home for a long time. We still want to be
sure that the tower will be installed and connections will be
provided soon to the people, al though it is hard to believe after
we have seen same kind of towers from a mobile company came in,
earth breaking held, politicians got credits and the result is the
failure of the project.
We hope same will not be repeated. I would request the local Tehsil
level leaders to please look back at the developments and the past
leaders performance and compare yours with them and you decide
whether you deserve this leadership. Do you think you will be able
to answer if God asks about what did you do sincerely to the people
except changing political parties for your own political interests
and misusing the power gifted by God.
