Amir Jamat Islami visits Chitral

CHITRAL: The central ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Syed Munawar Hussain has asked the government to stop military operation in the tribal belt which, he said, further aggravates the situation and alienates the patriotic tribal people of their country and this was the real target of America to achieve its ulterior motives. Addressing a public meeting here on Monday, he said that America seeks a chance to take control of the nuclear assets of the country on the pretext of tense situation in the country. He alleged that the rulers are pandering to the whims and wishes of their American masters and are treading them faithfully. Mr. Hassan reiterated that the neither the country can make progress nor the most sought-after normalcy can return to the country till the influence of America is not weeded out from here. He said that patronized by America, the India is also increasing its influence in the country and is carrying out its terrorist activities in the country but our rulers are not bold enough even to protest it. He alleged that the rulers are taking apologetic attitude towards Indian allegation about the country. Provincial ameer of the party senator professor Muhammad Ibrahim also spoke on the occasion.
