Prime Minister will soon visit Chitral....Asma Alamgir

CHITRAL: Advisor to the prime minister Asima Alamgir has condemned the demand of Nawaz Sharif for the mid term election and termed it his mad scramble for power at the cost of democracy. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, she reiterated that the workers of PPP will make the conspiracy against the democracy a failure and the campaign of Nawaz Sharif will fizzle out. Nawaz Sharif turned to deadly opposition from friendly opposition when his term of deal is likely to expire with the Saudi government, she alleged and added that it totally unfair to use the judiciary to
topple the democratic government. She further alleged that Nawaz Sharif has always sided with dictatorship and now he is leveling road for another dictator. She said that PPP should be allowed to fulfill its five years term and collapse of the present dispensation will prove a totally fatal practice for the future of the country. Miss Asma said that prime minister will visit Chitral shortly with a comprehensive package of development containing many mega projects.

Advisor to the PM on states and frontier region Asma Alamgir has said that with the completion of Lawari road tunnel Chitral will become hub of economic activities and Chitral will enter new era of prosperity and progress. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday at the end of her two days visit to Chitral she said Pakistan Peoples Party believe in the supremacy of law and have rendered sacrifices for the promotion of Democracy in the country. She said that NFC award is a great achievement of the govt which will pave ways for the socio economic development of the country and generate national cohesion. Asma Alamgir said that 18th amendment is another achievement of the present government. She said that govt is following the policy of reconciliation and taking all political parties on board to address the national issues. She said that the govt is fighting against terrorism on one side and taking drastic and far reaching steps for the welfare and betterment of the people. The adviser said that PPP manifesto is development oriented that is why execution of mega projects in all the provinces is in progress. She said that president Zardari and PM Gillani are taking keen interest in the development of Chitral. The PM will soon visit Chitral and announce development package for the development of Chitral .The advisor to PM said that PPP belive in the economic and political empowerment of women. We have started to re organize the women wing of the party. She announced to upgrade Chitral Border Police, provide job opportunities to the educated women. She was accompanied by Miss Falak Naz, Rahat Durrani, Begum Tehmash and other leaders of the women wing of the party.

Earlier, she visited flood affected area offered fatiha and prayed for the eternal peace of the deported souls. She announced Rupees one lac each to the relatives of the victims and destroyed houses and rupees 50 thousands each to the injured and partially damaged houses. She also announced Rupees two lac for the damaged mosque.
