Girls outshine boys in SSC examination

CHITRAL: All the top three positions in the district level
were clinched by the girls while they also excelled in overall pass
percentage in secondary school certificate examination held by
Peshawar board. According to the gazette issued by the board,
Bushra Aslam daughter of Aslam Khan and student of Broze Public
School, Broze topped the district by securing 896 marks out of
1050. Yusra Muhammad Baig daughter of Ghulam Ahmed of government
centennial model school for girls Chitral stood securing 894 marks
while Sobia Murad daughter of Abdul Murad Khan bagged third
position and got 886 marks. Muslim Model School, Jughoor had
excellent result where seven students got A-1 grades and 25
students secured A grade while overall result was 100 percent.
Similarly, many other schools including City college and school for
girls, Singoor Chitral and others also had to their credit of 100
percent pass results.
