Khush Ahmadul Mulk awarded
Chitraltimes Report PESHAWAR: Shahzada Khush Ahmadul Mulk’s life contribution to
protection of the environment and propagation of plants was
acknowledged by the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at a ceremony
here on Saturday.
The minister for environment Wajid Ali Khan awarded three
individuals including Shahazada Khush Ahmadul Mulk of Ayun Chitral for their
contribution to protect environment.
The event was organized to in connection with the world environment
day.

District Cup Polo tournament began in Chitral Pologround By Zahiruddin
CHITRAL: As many forty two teams from all nooks and corners
of the district are participating in the district cup polo
tournament which commenced on Sunday in the city polo ground.
District coordination officer Rahmatullah Wazir inaugurated the
tourney by throwing the ball in the centre line of the field.
Addressing on the occasion, he said that polo is the traditional
sport of Chitral which attracts tourists to the area. He said that
the enthusiasm of the people towards this game is unparalleled
while the physical stoutness of the people is best for it. He said
that the government is extending all possible patronage to the polo
players and help them keep horses. Mr. Wazir said that Shandur polo
festival will be celebrated with more zeal and fervour to 7 to 9th
July next.
