ambassador life changing experience in America
Hello every one
I am Rakhshinda Shakir from Chitral Charun . I
was student in AKHSS Kuragh which is analyzed as one of the
charitable schools in Chitral. I want to confess my life exactly 10
months ago to now. Life was way incomparable in all aspects ,never
scope diversity in life only physics, math, chemistry and English
were arbitrary. Still I assumed that life was limited there. Game,
joke, fun and laughter were casual. Never more I over looked at
other things accept brain storming those subjects. Its trustworthy
that I never intended varied of knowledge because Chitral being a
very remote area minister bountiful relief, freedom , hope and
connection to different scholastic branches. I was like a born baby
who laughs when you throw him in air because he knew that you will
catch him, this was the same configuration about my personality
before. I never perceived the word independent rather I loved to be
dependant. My mom did every thing for me from washing my clothes
till packing my bag pack. In school teachers responded for each new
questions. So I was obsessed with dependency every where in school,
at home as well as with friends. There is a big pose of my teachers
and my mom dad that today a little girl is qualified as an
ambassador for her country when exclusively Pakistan is a big issue
in media steadily. To substitute such country needs more guts &
courage which for sure I am over whelmed with as a gift by Almighty
Allah.
Well its my keen interest to share with all of you about my
exchange year in America which has been great and successful so far
and of course a life changing experience. I accomplish all the
obligatory concerns of contending in not only NWFP level but as
well Pakistan level thus in all over Pakistan 65 students were
selected as a little ambassadors so called a(YES student ) Youth
exchange and study. I am one of the 65 fortuitous scholars who
obtain contingency to personify their country in such a childish
age, which of course was immense dignity for me. I arrived in my
assigned accommodation which is in Canby Oregon America in August
4. I grasped many new information on my way to America which
include staying in Dubai and American University Washington for
almost a week. On the very first day of my stay in American
University I comprehend of extremely advanced things to learn.
Every thing was new and thus it sounded like its very easy to get
along with Americans. Well I met my host family and my host mom
whom with I live named Doris Robertson. I was getting so excited
trying out of new things but O, well as time passed by I started
going school and then it seemed like I am in hell. Every thing
seemed boring and I felt like indifference. Days assumed horribly
lastingly and darkness came along with terrible tears of
homesickness. One day I judged my self to my past and thus framed a
completely new image of my self .I made friends, experienced many
American life, administered my knowledge of Pakistan to them. I
piled myself to many activities like Debate, speech, leadership and
key club which functions voluntarily. Each new day materialize
advanced knowledge and thus I enjoyed life in America. Life was
taking troublesome days but I was assured of prayers that I took
along with me over seas would work out and yes they did attain to
bridge the gap between America and Pakistan. My American family,
friends , teachers, and school had very unsuitable approach about
Muslims. They imagined all Muslims terrorists but in one of my
presentation I said . "I have to make it clear to all of you that
Islam is the faith of unity, The faith of peace, The faith of
generosity, the faith of concern for the poor, the weak, and the
aged, and if the images which are been protected today around the
industrialized world are different .I am going to remind you that
those images stem not from the faith they stem from political or
other situations arising in self from path with the other world.
Over which 99.9 percent of the muslims have absolutely no control
and no involvement.
I am reminding you that Islam is a faith of unity. The God to you
pray is the same Muslim pray . Many of the social principle are
identical . Let your self not live with the incorrect impression of
images which you receive every day through all sources of
communication and which are totally wrong."
Besides all these presentations I involved in all type of
activities and volunteer services. I accomplished my one year
exchange program and also got Volunteer service award, and
presidential pin from white house Washington for all the hard work
I showed, and now I can say I am entirely a pure Chitrali.
Thank you to my mom for giving me good manners,
my dad for his trust, my teachers for their hard work and my
friends for their love and Chitral for being my home land. Looking
forward to see my self politician and as well to see my family and
friends in a couple days.
