Misbehavior of SDO, PESCO Chitral
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, the higher
authorities of PESCO and the public representatives are requested
to take notice of the misbehaviors of PESCO SDO in Chitral. Instead
of convincing and facilitating the public, create problems.
Whenever a complaint is made to the office about some serious
problems, instead of using pacifying words, they misbehave and use
abusive language with the complaint maker.
The powerhouse channel is scheduled to be cleansed for two days in
a weak at 6 am to 11 am on Monday and Thursday. On some other
unspecified day cutting of tree branches are done at will.
When on a telephone, I suggested to the SDO that cutting of
branches should be done during the two specified days so that
frequent load shedding can be avoided, similarly instead of the two
scheduled days Saturday and Sunday should be specified to make
electricity available for the consumers in the official days as it
was the good practice of the ex-officials. The SDO instead of
listening to my suggestion went into fury. First he said
aggressively that I should take his seat to implement the idea.
Then ended up his conversation with an abusive language and
disconnected the telephone line.
The authorities are requested that if they cannot solve the
electricity problems by halting load shedding they should at least
appoint such officials who can use pacifying words and polite
language with the consumers.
Bashir Hussain Azad,
Chitral.
