Congratulations to NAs Representatives
Dear editor:
Through your online newspaper, I would like to convey my deepest
felicitation to the elected representatives of Gilgit, Baltistan;
in general election.
The people of NAs rejoiced their constitutional
right to participate in this kind of election for the first time in
history. And they totally rejected the politics of terrorism and
kidnapping of innocent people for their personal upliftment. The
people of NAs also rejected those elements who made an imported
plan to create a self-made dispute between Chitral and NAs. The
people of NAs and Chitral have long lasting and frontierless
relationship through the centuries. They can effortlessly recognize
the fake faces, and this election was truly, everlasting and a
direct reflection for those political beggars.
Sincerely,
Gul Jee

Will they keep their promises with GB?
After the announcement of Gilgit Baltistan package (Empowerment and
self-governance order 2009) GB has drawn the attention of all the
mainstream political parties.Recently top leadership of these
political parties have paid visits to GB to run the electoral
campaign of their candidates. Addressing the peoples here the
leaders of the said parties have made some election promises like
PMLN has announced to increase quota seats in various professional
institutes of Punjab. Chief Minister of Punjab Mr. Shehbaz Sharif
has promised that the Punjab government will provide technical
education to 50 students of GB free of cost every year. ANP leaders
have also made a similar promise. While the chief of MQM Altaf
Hussain has assured that his party will raise the voice for the
rights of GB people on every platform and has promised that he will
struggle for the representation of GB in national assembly and
senate. Win or lose, the election game is about to over. Now the
question is, will these politicians keep their promises..??
