Uses of drugs is increasing

Dear Sir,

I want to giving draw attention towards the uses of drugs is increasing in the city and good number of youth is being targeted by drug mafia. A Karachi-based NGO working on the issues of street children and youth reported to a reputable news agency (The Nation) that in Karachi over two million youth are addicted, and rest of the youth and children are also at a high risk of drug addiction, as drug trafficking is prevailing in every part of the city.

In Karachi the main addiction is of Hashish, because this drug is easily available at every nook and corner of the city.
Drug mafia also seems to be operating with a political backing and law enforcement agencies have failed to stop the rapid growth of the drug trafficking in city. Drug mafia also has taken the ethnic cover and under the ethnic cover their drug business is flourishing with the backing of some personals of law enforcement agency and some prominent political figures.

Now government and law enforcement agencies should have to take an sever action against this act other wise it will bring a great destruction to our youth and teen age people.

LOAD SHEDDING IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM

I want to giving draw attention towards this unannounced load shedding in the notice of KESC and govt authorities an the behalf of your newspaper be despite having huge resources available government in Pakistan have answerably failed is cater to the power and water needs of the people.

The country has one of the largest resources in the world. These resources are located in their and sindh. This state of affairs requires a serious concern in order to come out of the dilemma of the water and power crisis, which is leading the country towards utter darkness.

In this connection, I would like to suggest the following remedial measures on a priority basis. The power conservation scheme should be started on a war footing. Further more unseeing and excrement lightening of sign boards and shopping malls worth maintaining here.

The media needs too expand and revise its comp gives power conservation.

Wind power is the best optics for power generation. The only need is to impend wind power technology than Europe.

Coal is the cheapest source for power generation will adds incalculably to national demands of power.

Construction of small dams is yet another dream pak has, like the wind power corridor, one of the best river systems in the world.

It is said that the future belongs to there nations who believe in the beauty of their dreams and new the time has come to fulfill those dream as soon as possible. Before its too late.

Dilemma of Plagiarism

Sir,
I want to draw the attention on the the issue of plagiarism. Plagiarism is a form of cheating or stealing some one works and lying about it afterwards. Its too common now a days among students. Students apply this phenomena in making their assignments.

Nowadays students usually make extra benefit from the source of internet. They just type a topic and almost all the things they get in front of them. They copy paragraphs and then copy and paste it by their names. Some people thought that their is no difference in research and plagiarism, but the difference is so wide.

Hence it is also common in newspaper yesterday, I read a letter in newspaper a girl existed copy and send to another newspaper with her name. Students now didn't use their brains their minds get rusted due to this copy paste phenomena.
Many software introduce for this purpose but still this phenomena is growing very rapidly. I hope that newspaper editors ,reporters and teachers apply this technique to detect the cheated materials.

HAJJ QUOTA

I would like to draw the attention of people and government authorities that Ministry of Religious Affairs has limited the Hajj quota for Shia sect of Sindh including Karachi to only 300 seats.

According to government figures, Shia are 20-25% in population in this country. Saudi government allots 1% of country's population to perform hajj. So, it is requested that we should be given the quota according to  population in this country. Many people are still willing to go but could not make it because of the limited number of seats.

I would like to ask the Ministry of Religious Affairs and especially the President of Pakistan Mr. Asif Ali Zardari to solve this problem and give justice to Shia people of this country.
