READING CULTURE IS VANISHING

Respected Sir,

Ruskin calls books "the King's treasures"...... filled, not with gold and silver and precious stones, but with riches much more valuable; knowledge, noble thoughts and high ideals. Poor indeed is the man who does not read and empty is his life. Books are the good companion of a man.

But there is no reading culture in our young generation. The prices of books are so high that a student or a common man cannot buy them. To promote reading culture there must be libraries in every area. But unfortunately, there are internet cafe's, restaurants, video and audio CD shops in every area but no libraries.

By reading books a person can get an optimistic view of life. He never feels lonely and depressed. He is never bored and his leisure time passes in a constructive manner.

Through this letter, I want to draw the attention of concerned authorities that they should take steps for the promotion of reading habits by laying the foundation of libraries in different areas so that people can get benefit of it.

Thanking You.

Child Labor

Sir,
I want to draw the attention on the serious issue of child labor. Child labor began to considered a human right issue and became a issue of public dispute, when the foundation of universal schooling was laid. Childrens are the gift of god they are so innocent we have seen many of these innocent childrens are involve in child labour. Generally we see many that parents are doing working for their childrens and children enjoy their childhood playing getting education by going to schools and involve in other recreational activities. However such is not a case with all the childrens. There were approximately above than 200 million childrens involve in this act. It is considered illegal by law and custom.

Many of these childrens come from poor reigns. They are the only source of income for their family. Social exclusion and discrimination, result of poverty and ethnic and gender biases are important factors that keep children out of schools and force them to work. We see couple of childrens working in indutries, factories some are involve in selling goods or food items or some of them supporting their parents business. These innocent childrens were also want to get education but their financial conditions can allow them. As Walt Disney said that;
'our greatest natural resource is the minds of our childrens'.
There are industries and individuals, who employee young innocent children. They put them to work under grueling circumstances. They make them work for long hours weaving delicate threads to make the world’s most expensive carpets. They make them work in dangerous factory units manufacturing fireworks. They make children carry load even heavier than their own body weight. .
Child labor is a world phenomena which is considered exploitative and inhuman by many international organizations. Government and international organizations working for it since many years but there is no such a result. I hope in future we are able to solve this problem and completely eradicate this child labor from our societies.
