Job Discrimination with Hunza in Gilgit-Baltistan legislative assembly

Sir,

This is apropos to a news item in the section of media regarding job discrimination in government sector and an additional seat for Hunza in Gilgit-baltistan (GB) legislative assembly. I want to add that the initial draft of the package for Gilgit-Baltistan had included 6 additional seats for GB including one for Hunza. However, the announced package is void of all these seats. It has came to know through media reports that Nawaz Sharif and Moulana Fazlul Rahman have blocked this from happening on the pretext of sectarian power imbalances in the assembly.

We, the people of Hunza, vehemently condemn this sort of delay-daily tactics and bias approach adopted by government and politicians in provisions of our legitimate demand for additional seat for Hunza in Legislative assembly of Gilgit-baltistan.

Yours Obediently,

Fida Karim

Smoking becomes a fashion among youngsters

Sir,
I want to draw the attention on the serious issue smoking become a fashion among youngster. We see many teenage boys and girls smoking at different malls, shops, institutions. Teenagers suppose that by doing smoking people consider them smart and cool. They just want to impress people but they don't know exactly by doing these things they put themselves into hurdle.

Everyday new cigarettes were introduced in the market. Many of lungs and heart diseases spreading due to this smoking. Usually people suffer from cancer. And teenage boys mostly suffer more. When their parents asked them why they smoke they give lame excuses like if we do not smoke we become ill or we suffer from headache.

Government should make some necessary arrangements to control the frequent supply of cigarettes. Teenagers must think over it because they were now no more a child who needs someone to guide them ,I think they were now able to understand what is good and what is injurious for their health .
