TWO KILLED IN DIFFERENT INCIDENTS IN CHITRAL
CHITRAL: At lest two people were killed in different
incidents here, police sources said Monday. A jawan of Frontier
Constabulary (FC) died while cross the snowbound Lawari Top by
foot.
Chitral Police said that they had found the frozen dead body of
Nimat-ur-Rehman, son of Yakhya Baig, resident of Shahi village
Sheshikoh Valley Lawari Top. Police source said the FC jawan was
going back on his duty in Dara Adamkhel after spending his
vacations with his family.
Doctors said that cardiac arrest caused the death of Nimat. Lawari
Top, 10,000 feet above the sea level, is the only land route which
connects Chitral with the rest of the country, was snowbound and
blocked for all kind of traffic since last year.
The alternate land route passes through Kunner province of
Afghanistan, which is prohibited for the forces’ men.Meanwhile, a
young man drowned in Chitral Rivers.
Chitral police said that Shahab ud Din accidentally fell into the
river Chitral and died. He was fishing with others friends
near Shah Dok. His dead body was recovered and handed over to
