Adl Regulation will ensure quick and easy Justice.......Salim

CHITRAL: NWFP Minister for Population Welfare Saleem Khan
has warmly congratulated the people of Chitral on the promulgation
of Adl Regulation in Malakand Division and said that it will ensure
the provision of quick and easy justice to the people of Malakand
Division adding that people would get rid of the complicated system
of court - kutchehries and it will have positive bearings on the
law and order situation not only of the Malakand Division but of
the whole province as well.
He expressed these views while addressing a meeting of District
Peace Committee in Chitral, the other day. The meeting was attended
by District Nazim Chitral Haji Maghfirat Shah, District
Coordination Officer, Mutasim Billah Shah, District Police Officer
Chitral, Salim Khan Marwat, Commandant Chitral Scouts, Col. Sohail
Iqbal, Heads of all political and religious parties and
representatives of NGOs.
Saleem Khan urged the district administration, law enforcing
agencies, political parties and elected public representatives to
make well coordinated efforts to maintain the peaceful atmosphere
of Chitral. He also urged the public to cooperate with the law
enforcing agencies in this regard and to keep vigilant eye on
miscreants.
Saleem Khan appealed to the political organizations of Chitral to
put their political differences aside and get unite for the sake of
the peace of the soil as peace is the basic need of all.
The meeting reviewed in detail the overall law and order situation
in Chitral and discussed various suggestions to further improve the
peaceful atmosphere of Chitral. The participants stressed to beef
up security and checking of passengers at all the entry points of
Chitral and increase security personnel on the regions boarding
with Afghanistan.
They warmly welcome the promulgation of Adl Regulation in Malakand
Division and demanded of the government to take all possible steps
to maintain the peace of Chitral.
