Joint Operation?

The news on Pak-Us Joint operation on Pak –Afghan border in FATA was very unfortunate, depressing and disappointing. The present violence in Pakistan is due to the presence of 5000 US marines in 5 military facilities inside Pakistan. In some cases of violence US marines are directly involved. There are proofs of indirect American involvement in terrorist activities in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Swat, Peshawar and other places. This is why a single terrorist has not been punished by our courts during the last 7 years. In such circumstances the proposed joint Pak-US Operation will mean the intrusion of more then 20000 US troops into Pakistan territory. If this happens, then we shall be demanding for the pull out of US troops until at least 50 years in future. This will ultimately mean the loosing of our sovereign status. Are we heading towards the end of our history? more pertinent question is that why are we spending 45% of our budget on the armed forces if we still need American forces for operation in FATA?
