MNA takes credit for getting uplift funds released for Chitral

CHITRAL: Member National Assembly from the district Shahzada
Mohiuddin has said that due to his personal efforts and positive
policies all the hurdles in the way of completion of developmental
projects were removed despite the change of faces in the power
corridors at centre level.
This he said while addressing the inauguration ceremony of
blacktopping of Booni-Shandur road at Mastuj, some 120kms away from
here on Monday.
Member Provincial Assembly Haji Ghulam Muhammad, tehsil nazim
Mastaj Shahazada Sikandarul Mulk and local elders were also present
on the occasion.
Addressing on the occasion, Shahazada Mohiuddin said that he had
good terms with present PPP-led central government as it was
evident from the fact that he was able to get the required funds
released for Booni-Shandur road, a project approved by former
president Pervez Musharraf during his visit to the valley some
years back.
MNA said that he had held a detailed meeting with Prime Minister
Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani wherein he had briefly apprised the PM
about the problems faced by the people of the district, he said and
claiming that the dream to bring a positive change in the living
status of poor Chitralis would be materialised by providing them
new job opportunities through the spread of a network of uplift
schemes in the valley.
Commenting on various ongoing development projects in the area,
Shahzada Mohiuddin said that work would be launched on the project
of Golain Hydel Power Station shortly as Federal Minister for Power
and Water Raja Pervez Ashraf was scheduled to pay a visit to the
district by the end of current month.
MPA Ghulam Muhammad in his address said that they would spare no
effort to remove the backwardness of the area and bring it on par
with settled areas of the country.

Organized Students Competition Program

KOSHT: SHAMA an Educational Welfare Organization of the
youth of Kosht Muzhdeh organized a students competition program.
Students of middle classes from Govt. Girls Middle School Kosht,
Community Based School Muzhdeh and Islamia Model School Kosht
participated in this program. Speech, Naat Khwani and Quiz
Competitions were the parts of the program. According to the result
Asif Nawaz of IMS got 1st prize in speech contest, Shakila of GGMS
won 1st position in Naat Khwani while the team of IMS (Dilshad,
Irfan Ullah and Afaq Ali) was the winner the Quiz competition.
Social personalities, senior educationists and number of parents
and teachers were present in this occasion. The participants
appreciated SHAMA to arrange such a useful program for the
students.
