Hashoo Foundation for uplift of remote areas

CHITRAL: Chief Executive of Hashoo Foundation Pakistan Dr
Imamyar Baig has said that the foundation aimed at the social and
economic development of backward and far-flung areas of country
like Chitral.
He said this while addressing a meeting here at a hotel on Sunday
wherein officials of the district government, representatives of
various NGOs and journalists were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Imamyar said that focus of attention of
the foundation was the elimination of poverty, provision of
standard health and education facilities and employment to people
of remote areas.
He further said that the foundation wanted true empowerment of
women particularly of the district and Northern areas and was also
working on a project of 'Women Empowerment in Honey Bee Sector'.
He said that efforts would be taken to improve the living status of
people of the area and a number of projects would be launched in
this regard.
He urged masses to shun their differences and bring unity among
their ranks in order to face the confronted challenges to masses
and put the country on track of development.
