Worse condition of Booni Medical Center Road
Dear Editor
Through your venerated online newspaper I would like to draw the
attention of the concerned authorities towards the worse condition
of the road leading to Aga Khan Medical centre Booni (AKMCB) from
main bazaar Booni.
Aga Khan Medical Unit Booni is the only equipped Medical centre in
upper Chitral which provides medical facilities to the people of
the region. If it takes one hour from Mastuj to reach Booni in an
emergency, it definitely takes half an hour to get to the AKMCB,
not because of the distance just because of the bad condition of
the road. Here it is worth to mention the pain that a patient in an
emergency feels while passing through the rough so called mettled
road with hundreds of ditches in it. None of the government
officials has bothered to have a look over the poor condition of
this road.
It's my humble request to the MNA and MPA Chitral to take immediate
action to repair this road.

Globalization and upper Chitral
Dear editor,
Through your platform of chitraltimes I want to share some of my
ideas about communication system in upper Chitral especially in
Laspure and Yarkhoon valleys.
As many know that the above mentioned two famous valleys are still
lacking basic communication facilities. We are considering the
world as global village and proudly supporting globalization, with
all these ideas in mind its shameful that the concerned authorities
are still in endless sleep. I hope that the authorities should
think on it and the day will come when no
more such complain will be there.
