Lawyers staged sit-in in the hospital Road

CHITRAL: The lawyers staged a sit-in in the DHQ hospital
road in front of the district courts followed by a protest
procession led by district bar association president Khurshid
Hussain Mughal here on Thursday demanding the restoration of
judges. They hoisted black flag atop the building of district bar
room and chanted slogans against the PPP government. The speakers
expressed their determination that the lawyers community will
continue their struggle till the complete restoration of November 2
judiciary.

Representation of Chitral in Youth Parliament sought

CHITRAL: The information secretary of People’s Youth
Organization (PYO), Chitral district Hasil Murad Hisam has asked
the government to include the youth from Chitral in the Youth
Parliament under Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development. In
a press statement issued here on Thursday, he said that due to its
backwardness and rampant poverty, no youth has ever been selected
to the forum which provides the skills of quality leadership to the
youth. He said that the youth of the backward areas must be ensured
in the forum to strengthen democracy and its institutions. He has
demanded that the ministry of Youth affairs should sponsor the
selection of two youth of each gender in the forum during the
current session.
