DCO Chitral warns the profiteers

CHITRAL: DCO Chitral Mutasim Billah Shah has said that the
illegal profiteers will be dealt with an iron hand during the holy
month of Ramazan and no leniency will be shown to those found
involved in it. Addressing the meeting of district price control
committee here on Wednesday in his office, he said that a
comprehensive system has been evolved to arrest the price hike in
the market and no one will be able to escape. He asked the price
magistrates to submit report on the price control activities on
daily basis so that the provision of the commodities of daily use
could be ensured on the controlled prices. He said that the prices
of the commodities have been rationalized and no any excuse of the
profiteers will be accepted under any circumstance. The DCO asked
the consumers to extend full cooperation to the administration by
reporting to it the names of profiteers. On this occasion, the
officials of revenue and food department and the president of
Traders union and other representatives were present.

JI president wants solution of people's problems

CHITRAL: The district president of Jamaat-e-Islami Chitral
Moulana Ghulam Mohammad has said that the residents of Mulkhow and
Torkhow tehsils of Chitral face severe problems in the sectors of
health and education. Talking to the local journalists here on
Wednesday after his tour to the tehsils, he said that the
government seems not be earnest in the solution of the problems of
the people. He said that the hospitals are being run without
doctors, medicines and equipments for diagnosis and the schools are
without teaching staff. He said that access to health and education
facilities is the basis right of the people and no one can deny it.
He demanded of the government to remove the acute shortage of staff
in the schools and hospital of the area before they come to the
roads to register their protest.
