Resignation of Pervaiz Musharraf welcomed by PPP Leader

CHITRAL: The veteran leader of PPP Mohammad Said Khan Laal
has welcomed the ouster of Pervaiz Musharraf and said that the
nation has got rid of a dictator who had strangulated democracy and
flourished extremism in the country to gain his political ends. In
a press statement issued here on Tuesday, he said that the
jubilation of the people across the country shows the unpopularity
of Pervaiz Musharraf. He said that he must be tried for tempering
with the constitution of the land and his heinous crimes which he
committed during his rule which are the dark days of the country.
He eulogized PPP chairman Asif Zardari for his statesmanship due to
which the dictator was forced to evacuate the presidency.
