Call for small grants

The Political Empowerment of Women Programme, a project of AKRSP invites proposals from Civil Society Organizations to respond with innovative and effective projects for Women’s Empowerment

Overall objective of this activity is to explore innovative and contextually appropriate concepts aimed at women empowerment.

Maximum grant for these projects 150,000 PKR (50,000 each for the top three proposals)

Eligibility Criteria:

The applicant must:

• Be a non profit entity
• Be a registered Civil Society or Community Based Organization based in Chitral.
• Be in position to directly implement the project.
• Have a minimum 2 years experience in project management.
• Not submit more than one proposals for this call.

Note: Last date of submission of the proposals is March 10, 2007.  Proposals in either language Urdu or English will be acceptable.
