Just like every human, I love my birth place ‘chitral’. This place carries my child hood memories; a tang of my Grand parents adores and loves of undefined friends. Physical part of me traveled all around this world but I found my mind and soul static in chitral. Chitralis are considered as the most civilized nation on earth and I am proud to be a part this empire. As this place is unique, I desired to do some thing unusual. I looked around found nothing much but a modern sculpture of all machines called computer, was introduced in this great region but there was no dedicated website. In the year 2000, I proudly launched khowar.com, first chitrali website in the history. It was a great success. We got appreciation letters from 36 countries around the world. Khowar.com is not just a website; it is platform for all chitralis and other individuals in the whole world. People ask me this question all the time, why did I name this website; khowar.com? My answer is simple; a khow boy couldn’t come up with any better name, other then his own. Yes I am khow and certainly just like every chitrali I am proud of it.
In the year 2004 I felt like to have an online newspaper for chitral, which can display fresh news from chitral and about chitral with a click of a mouse. I introduced chitraltimes.com in 2004, with the blessing of Allah all Mighty chitraltimes.com get visited by approximately
80,000 users every day. Truly I don’t get any fortune of doing all this but I am greedy of getting inner satisfaction and may be some where, some one will put two hands together and pray for me. We all need it, please please pray for us.
Sure I wouldn’t be able to do any thing without my team. They spend their time and fortune to heighten chitral`s great websites. There is no word which can appreciate their efforts. I can still count on the long nights which they never sleep but design your favorite web sites, collect data’s and sturdy uploading processes. I would like to express gratitude to Mr. Saif-ur-Rehman Aziz, Editor-in-Chief chitral times; he dedicated his precious time and great efforts to this newspaper. It would be very hard for us to run chitral times without him. My web designer Rasheed ul Ghafor, Shafi ur Rehman, Imran ud Din and Das Nobel showed their implausible skills, for which they are behind of none. Faizurehman Aziz and Farid Hussain managed our sites extremely well and fulfilled their higher administrative levels.
We as a team promise, that we will never stop doing more for chitral. Insha Allah you will see more new projects in the future.
